YEREVAN. – The forecasts for economic growth in Armenia in 2020 have been revised downwards; in 2020, a decline of 7.9 percent was forecast, but in fact it was 7.6 percent. Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan said this during Tuesday’s preliminary discussion of the 2020 state budget execution report at the joint meeting of the National Assembly standing committees.

At that, the GDP made about 6 trillion 184 billion drams, in nominal terms, and the average inflation—1.2 percent.

The acting minister added that the national debt of Armenia amounted to 7 billion 968 million dollars.
