YEREVAN. – It has turned out that about half of the state agencies and institutions in Armenia were not audited in 2020, which is undoubtedly a cause for concern. Chairman of the Audit Chamber, Levon Yolyan, said this during Tuesday’s preliminary discussion of the 2020 state budget execution report at the joint meeting of the National Assembly standing committees.

Moreover, according to him, program budgeting research has shown that 17.7 percent of program measures have not yet reached any production or non-financial indicators, so the effectiveness of these funds can not be assessed due to their lack of their measurability. "Besides, according to a number of macroeconomic indicators, Armenia has made a transition from countries with low debt burden to a group of countries with medium debt burden," Yolyan added.
