Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan today visited the Border Guard Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Armenia, as reported the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

“Vagharshak Harutyunyan, along with Head of the Border Guard Department, Lieutenant General Roman Golubitsky, toured the Museum of the Department of the Border Guard Service of the Russian Federation, was introduced to the displays of the history of defense of Armenia’s borders and paid tribute to the monument symbolizing the unity of the two friendly peoples.

During the visit, the acting defense minister and the head of the Border Guard Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation discussed the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, as well as demining in certain sectors of the border zone,” the press release reads.
