ETCHMIADZIN. – Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II has left for Syunik Province, after which he will travel to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on a patriarchal visit, the Information Services of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin have informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the visit to Syunik, a national ceremony of wishing is planned at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church in Goris town.
Also, the Catholicos will pay his respects at the local military pantheon, and pray for the peace of the souls of the heroes who have died for the homeland.
A visit to Shurnukh village is also planned on the same day.
