“Consultations and negotiations with the foreign ministers are underway. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in contact through the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and embassies literally every day and regularly issues press releases regarding the phone talks with the foreign ministers…Russia has made tremendous efforts to solve the current situation during the heated phase and in the post-acute phase of the conflict,” she said.

According to her, this concerns not only political efforts, but also the diplomatic and personal efforts of the country’s leadership. “Of course, this also concerns the role of Russian peacekeepers who put their efforts and use their skills to fix the situation every day. It’s impossible to underestimate the role of Russian peacekeepers,” Zakharova concluded.
