YEREVAN. – Five of the 11 children who were admitted to the National Center for Infectious Diseases—and with a preliminary diagnosis of "acute gastroenteritis"—have been discharged. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned this from the Ministry of Health of Armenia.

The other six children are still receiving inpatient treatment in the hospital, but they are in satisfactory condition

To note, 11 children were hospitalized Tuesday with a preliminary diagnosis of "acute gastroenteritis," whose symptoms are nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Four of these kids were admitted to the intensive care unit where they received appropriate treatment, and then were transferred to the infection departments.

Of these 11 children hospitalized, five recovered and were discharged the same day.
