The ruling party is in agony. Vahe Hakobyan, representative of the “Armenia” bloc which is running in the snap parliamentary elections set for June 20 and leader of Reviving Armenia Party, said this during their campaign meeting in Shengavit district of Yerevan today.
“Many members have come to grips and don’t want to share the responsibility and fate of their leader. Tomorrow Nikol [Nikol Pashinyan] is going to Syunik Province with the accompaniment of 1,400 police officers. These are official data,” Hakobyan said.
Pashinyan’s last visit to Syunik Province was terribly embarrassing and controversial and it was literally an escape from the province.
