YEREVAN. – A deflation of 0.4% was registered in Armenia in May 2021, against the 0.1% deflation in the same month of the previous year, in which case the 12-month inflation decreased to 5.9% in the country.

The 12-month normal inflation continued to accelerate, making 7.4% at the end of May, the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the CBA Board expects a considerable inflationary impact on the Armenian economy from the external sector.
