The Police of Armenia have summoned candidate of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party for Member of Parliament Ashot Andreasyan and launched a criminal case against him.

In this regard, Andreasyan wrote the following on his Facebook page: “I have been summoned to the police station in Malatia-Sebastia district [of Yerevan], and it’s probably under the criminal case launched after I offended the riffraff supporters of Nikol [Nikol Pashinyan] and threw them out of the campaign headquarters and gave them an adequate response.

As a candidate on the electoral list of Prosperous Armenia Party, it is safe to state that the incumbent incompetent authorities continue to use all of their leverages to repress large opposition political parties. You’re not going to change anything no matter what measure you take. You have four days left.”
