The Russian government has decided to fund the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project which will help the most affected regions of Armenia in the process of post-conflict recovery. We learn about this from the official Facebook page of the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
For this purpose, US$3.2 million have been allocated from the state budget.
The Russian Embassy in Armenia has already officially informed the Armenian side about this decision.
It is also mentioned that Russia provides financial support to the UN initiatives aimed at the comprehensive development of Armenia.
The total amount of assistance in the implementation of such programs has already amounted to about US$70 million.
