The world's tallest hotel has officially opened in Shanghai, China, Morningstar reported.

The J Hotel Shanghai Tower is located in Shanghai Tower, which is the world’s second tallest skyscraper after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The hotel is located at a height of 632 meters, and its restaurant is located on the last—120th—floor. This restaurant may have its spot in the Guinness Book of Records.

Construction of the Shanghai Tower cost $2.3 billion and was completed in 2015. In addition to offices, the tower also houses shops, restaurants, a hotel, and the highest viewing platform in Shanghai and China, on the 118th floor.
