Searches of the Armenia bloc in Sisian of the Syunik Province is an unprecedented disgrace, said official representative of Armenia bloc's pre-election central headquarters Aram Vardevanyan.

His statement comes as follows:

We have received confirmed information that the National Security Service has organized a “search operation” of all the headquarters of Armenia Bloc in the Syunik region, particularly, in the city of Sisian.

The basis of the search, according to the court decision, was the search for a ballot printing machine. The absurdity of this is that such a device cannot exist at all, as the ballots are printed exclusively by special printing houses; none of which can be located at the headquarters. At the same time, we have information that the search decision was made not by the Syunik Region Court of First Instance, but by Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Yerevan Court of First Instance.

The purpose of this action is to paralyze the activities of the supporters of the Armenia Bloc on the day of the elections, which is unprecedented; a disgrace that has never been seen before. Nikol Pashinyan does not realize that he, as an acting Prime Minister, has a great responsibility to ensure that the political campaigning is conducted in a fair and free atmosphere.

The violations include the abuse of his official position, the misuse of administrative resources, the spread of hate speech, the abuses of the criminal justice. This is not an exhaustive list of violations.

Armenian Alliance has a determination to ensure that the entire electoral cycle is conducted in accordance with the 1990 OSCE Copenhagen Document and other international instruments.
