On 19 June 2021, the Central Election Commission ruled that Mr. Pashinyan and its Civil Contract have breached the election silence rules as required by the Electoral Code, Armenia bloc said in a statement.

They statement comes as follows:

During this period, which begins 24 hours before the voting day and ends after polling ends, no active campaigning is allowed, and television or any media cannot carry any election-related matter. This decision of the Central Election Commission is only applied to Mr. Pashinyan and the Civil Contract Party.

Furthermore, since yesterday, insulting and offensive materials about the leaders of the Armenia Bloc are massively being circulating in different places of Yerevan. According to our information, this disgraceful process was especially organized by Soros-related organisations with the permission of the outgoing government. In addition, during the same period, posters of the Republic” Party were placed in violation of the Electoral Code.

We have also received information that since yesterday the members of the regional offices of the Armenia Bloc have been unlawfully detained on the basis of false compliants. There are reasonable doubts that this entire process is organised especially by Soros-related organisations.

There have never been such gross violations of the electoral process in the history of Armenia, we call the attention of all international observation missions and embassies in Armenia to these continuing gross violations.
