As of 5pm the voter turnout in Sunday’s snap parliamentary elections in Armenia was 38.17 percent; 989,972 voters took part in the voting. Central Electoral Commission (CEC) secretary Armen Smbatyan said this at the CEC Information Center.

To note, 39.54 percent of the total number of voters had voted as of 5pm in the previous parliamentary elections, which were held in December 2018.

As of 5 pm 40.15 percent (344,868 voters) of voters of Yerevan have voted, 29.41 percent (35,921 voters) in Gyumri and 37.62 percent (35,251) in Vanadzor.

To note, 38.04 percent (323,323 voters), 31.29 percent (38,945 voters) and 38.68 percent (37,265 voters) had voted as of 5pm in Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor, respectively in the previous parliamentary elections, which were held in December 2018.
