STEPANAKERT. – The search for the remains of fallen Armenian servicemen continues Monday in the Varanda (Fizuli) region, the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Service of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am

The service will provide additional information on the results.

Ever since the search operations that were launched immediately after the hostilities that ended last November, 1,580 such remains were found and retrieved from the Artsakh territories that are now occupied by Azerbaijan.

Also, the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides have exchanged bodies from time to time.
