Our initial opinion is that yesterday's power outages did not have a considerable impact on the elections. This was stated by Eoghan Murphy, Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Observation Mission, at a press conference on Monday, in connection with Sunday’s snap parliamentary elections in Armenia.
He added that these assessments, however, may change in their final report.
"We also have received such information. Power outages have not hampered the monitoring mission," Murphy said.
To note, the large settlements in a number of Armenia’s provinces were left without electricity during the vote count on Sunday evening.
