The State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) reports that the remains of another three Armenian servicemen were removed by rescuers during searches conducted in Varanda (Fizuli) region today.

According to preliminary data, the servicemen were veterans of the hostilities. After the remains are transferred to Armenia, a forensic medicine expert examination will be designated to identify the bodies.

Between November 13, 2020 and June 21, 2021, the remains of 1,583 servicemen have been found in and removed from the territories of Artsakh seized by Azerbaijan, and according to preliminary data, 27 of them are the remains of civilians.
