A tragic car accident took place in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia
Today at around 6:10 p.m. the driver of a BA3 (VAZ in Russian) car curved off the Tchambarak-Shorzha road, spun a few times and rolled over into a gorge located near the side of Lake Sevan, Shamshyan.com reported.
As a result of the car accident, eight people were transferred to Tchambarak Medical Center with bodily injuries of varying degrees. Shamshyan.com also reported that one of the wounded children died after failing to regain consciousness.
According to preliminary information, the driver is an officer of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
