YEREVAN. – From Wednesday, recounting of votes will continue in more than 70 polling stations at several regional election commissions of Armenia. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), and regarding the country’s snap parliamentary elections on June 20.
The respective CEC statement also notes that recounting applications were submitted within the set timeframe regarding the voting results at 27 polling stations, of which only three precinct applications were submitted by the competent entities. However, recounting will be conducted by the regional election commissions at the other 24 polling stations as well.
No applications were received by the regional election commissions to invalidate the voting results at the polling stations.
