Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory message to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on his birthday. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the press office of the President of Armenia.

The Chinese President stressed that Armenia is one of their traditional friendly countries. In particular, he noted that last year China and Armenia fought hand in hand against the coronavirus pandemic, and this was a new impetus for the development of bilateral relations and cooperation.

In his congratulatory message, Xi Jinping added that he attaches great importance to the development of Chinese-Armenian relations, and is ready to make joint efforts to raise bilateral relations to a new level—and for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
