This purchase was made in accordance with the sub-item of a section of an article of the Law on Procurement, according to which the purchase can be made from one person if the product, work or service to be purchased can be purchased from only by one person, which is due to its copyright and related rights, and in case of special or exclusive right.

This amount was allocated to the Public Television of Armenia back on April 15, by one of the government's decisions that was on the agenda as an unreported matter.

The purpose of allocating this amount is to create a new news television channel.

To note, however, the Ministry of Finance was against the allocation of this amount, and it had submitted its respective objection to the government.
