Azerbaijan is ready to work with Armenia on a big peace agreement, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in an interview with TRT.

"We believe that this is realistically the first time after the obtaining of independence by Armenia and Azerbaijan when our countries have a unique chance to normalize their relations," he said. "This is the first time when there is no fact of occupation."

"As a result of this war, Azerbaijan 'restored its territorial integrity based on 4 UN Security Council resolutions.

"Four out of seven occupied regions were liberated by military operations and three were based on these trilateral statements."

"Azerbaijan is ready to work with Armenia on a big peace agreement between our two countries and we are offering this," Bayramov said adding that they expect the same level of political will from Armenia.
