A tragic incident took place in Yerevan today. At around 4:30 pm, the 911 center of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia and the operational management center of Yerevan Police Department received an alarm according to which there was a man’s body in a gorge located in Hrazdan Gorge, which is located near St. Sargis Armenian Church.

According to Shamshyan.com, rescuers transferred the body to a safe place with great difficulty, and a forensic doctor is currently working on the spot.

Police and investigators are trying to identify the deceased. An investigator has decided to designate a forensic medicine expert examination.
