After searches conducted in Varanda (Fizuli) region, the remains of another serviceman were found today, the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) reported.
“According to preliminary data, the serviceman is a veteran of the hostilities, and he will be identified after a forensic medicine expert examination.
Since November 13, 2020, the remains of 1,585 servicemen have been found and removed from the territories that are currently under Azerbaijan’s control.
Search efforts will continue. The Service will provide further information about the directions and results,” the press release reads.
