The Statistical Committee has published the current and operative indicators characterizing the socioeconomic situation in Armenia, the government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Accordingly, the economic activity index of the country has increased by 10.9% in May 2021 as compared to the same period of the previous year.

Moreover, the amount of Armenia’s industrial output has increased by 7.9%, services—by 17.3%, trade—by 17.6% , construction—by 0.5%, exports—by 36.7%, and imports—by 34.5%.

Also, the country’s economic activity index was 4.3% in January-May 2021 as compared to the same period last year.
