Currently, political consultations over the violations committed during the elections may be held and are being held only with regard to the issue of applying to the Constitutional Court, but not over possible political collaboration. The current consultations are devoted to the issue of applying to the Constitutional Court or not, jointly or independently. This is what representative of the ‘I Have Honor’ bloc (the bloc won seats in parliament after the snap parliamentary elections held on June 20) Sos Hakobyan said during a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am today.

According to him, there is still no specific information stating who will be included in the final list of deputies of the ‘I Have Honor” bloc and will be provided only after expiry of the date for applying to the Constitutional Court.

“At this moment, there candidates who might be included in the list haven’t made statements on dropping mandates. There is also no discussion on this issue since applying to the Constitutional Court is the only item on the agenda now,” Hakobyan stated.

Asked if the ‘I Have Honor’ has considered cooperating with the political party led by first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Hakobyan said the bloc hasn’t discussed this issue.

On June 20, Armenia held snap parliamentary elections. Based on the results, three political forces will be represented in the new parliament, including Civil Contract Party (led by acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan), as well as the ‘Armenia’ and ‘I Have Honor” blocs.

After the elections, the ‘I Have Honor’ bloc received 7 parliamentary mandates. As for ‘Armenia’ bloc, it declared that it doesn’t accept the results of the snap parliamentary elections and will apply to the Constitutional Court due to the violations committed during the elections.
