YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: These days, the representatives of some of the [political] forces that rant in the [snap] elections but did not enter the parliament had meetings with [acting PM] Nikol Pashinyan. The latter has stated that a format is currently being considered in order to cooperate with the extra-parliamentary forces and make their voice heard by the public. It seems that we are talking about a political council which will have an advisory function, almost like the Public Council, but with the participation of political forces.

According to Past newspaper’s information, this idea has been proposed by some Western-funded circles. The newspaper had written in one of its publications back in early May that, "Nikol Pashinyan has promised the West, particularly to the US, to do everything so that at least one Western unit appears in the upcoming parliament, so that the entire National Assembly will not be composed of forces recognizing Russia's strategic importance for Armenia and of the [ruling] Civil Contract [Party] which became ‘Russia-loving’ due to the circumstances."

Despite the possible and impossible efforts made, it did not become possible, and now they have thought of somehow settle this problem with such a format.

According to preliminary information, the overwhelming majority in the given council will be pronounced pro-Western forces.
