Tunisian Prime Minister Hisham Mashishi said the cost of stalled state projects in the country reached 17 billion Tunisian dinars [about $ 6 billion], MEMO reported.
Mashishi told reporters at the Bayt Al-Iqmah series of meetings that one of the most tangible obstacles facing public investment is the rules and legal formalities.
He noted that an action plan will be developed that will allow the government to use two billion dinars ($ 714 million) from appropriations for suspended government projects over the next 12 months.
