The second secret ballot for election of the new parliamentary speaker of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly of Armenian is being held and will last thirty minutes.

The reason why a second ballot is taking place is because there was a mistake in the ballot papers, better yet, in the name of one of the opposition candidates. The name of the candidate was not announced.
