By the order of acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, Vahan Hunanyan has been appointed Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported the press service of the Armenian MFA.

From 2018 to 2020, Hunanyan was the spokesperson of and later advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.
