The 76th session of the UN General Assembly opened in New York Tuesday, TASS reported.
The situation in Afghanistan is expected to be the main topic of this session.
In addition, the agenda includes issues of social equality, the coronavirus pandemic and respective vaccinations, slave trade, climate change, and some other matters.
The event will conclude on September 30, and the first day of general high-level debates is September 21.
