By the decisions of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Sergey Atomyan has been relieved of the post of Deputy Governor of Ararat Province and appointed Head of the Penitentiary Service.

Earlier, Atomyan was a deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of the seventh convocation.
