Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov today received the new commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Lieutenant General Gennady Anashkin, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.

Anashkin replaced Major General Mikhail Kosobokov.

The parties discussed the situation in the region.

Lieutenant-General Rustam Muradov was also attending the meeting.
