Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan today received the delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imambayev.

As reported the Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the minister stated that Armenia’s cooperation with Kazakhstan in the high-tech sector is ongoing and presented the areas of activities of the ministry that are aimed at enhancing high-tech industry in Armenia.

According to the minister, currently, all areas of the economy are linked to technologies, meaning the advancement of high technologies plays a pivotal role in the country’s economic development.

Ambassador Imanbayev expressed gratitude for the reception, touched upon the historical and cultural ties between the two countries and presented several programs that have already been carried out for Kazakhstan’s economic advancement. He also touched upon the already reached agreements.

Khachaturyan particularly emphasized the great experience that Kazakhstan has in space technology, within the scope of which the partnership will contribute to the development of space technologies in Armenia. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to consider the earmarked opportunities for cooperation during an online meeting of the two ministers in the near future.
