Hraparak.am had reported that former and current officials of the Ministry of Defense have been searched and detained, and that former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan and weapons supplier Davit Galstyan have been detained, searches were conducted in the apartments of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Stepan Galstyan and former and currently arrested chief of the Aviation Department Avetik Muradyan.

In an interview with Hraparak.am, Head of the Information Department of the Apparatus of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel Samvel Asatryan informed that today the National Security Service summoned Deputy Chief of the General Staff Stepan Galstyan within the scope of a well-known case.

Asatryan didn’t provide further details.
