Members of the Yerevan City Committee of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party are protesting in front of the main building of the government of Armenia.

One of their representatives told reporters that they had come to get answers from the Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, to several questions.

"The main issue is related to getting tested [for the coronavirus]. We are not against vaccination; it’s just that are a few questions. How come the 15,000[-dram] test became 5,000 drams? According to experts, the cost price of getting tested is about 2,000 drams. So far, 1.7 million tests have been conducted. That is, the government, which is talking about robbery, has had a profit of $37 million in one year. We do not know which organization had that profit, but they robbed the people in the name of 'testing.'

Until September 21, the number of infected people was 400-500 per day. And in these conditions, the government decided to organize an event [i.e., devoted to the 30th anniversary of Armenia’s independence] at Republic Square. Did the [health] minister object to that decision? As after that the number of infected people reached a thousand [per day]," he said.
