It was worth it. This is what President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in regard to the purchase of S-400s and Turkey’s relations with the United States after his meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Sochi.

According to Erdogan, Turkey is considering a greater opportunity for joint actions with Russia in the defense industry, including with regard to fighter jets and submarines.

“We had an opportunity to thoroughly discuss what steps need to be taken to manufacture the engines of planes and what steps need to be taken with regard to the fighter jets,” he added.
