YEREVAN. - A delegation, led by Armenian parliament speaker Alen Simonyan, has left for Russia on a three-day official visit, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation will meet with chairman Vyacheslav Volodin of the Russian State Duma, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, and chairperson Valentina Matviyenko of the Russian Federation Council.

Also, a visit is planned to the Russian Diplomatic Academy where discussions will be held with its faculty and students.

In addition, the Armenian delegation will be hosted by the Primate of the Armenian Church Diocese of New Nakhichevan and Russia, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan.

And on the final day of its official visit, the delegation will meet with the representatives of the Armenian community of Russia.
