Minister of Defense of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan today received Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reports.
Karapetyan presented the situation on the border and mentioned Azerbaijan’s actions aimed at destabilizing the situation.
In her turn, Wiktorin informed that the EU supports the efforts of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and expressed willingness to contribute to the resumption of negotiations in this format.
During the meeting, the parties also touched upon a number of issues related to regional security.
