YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan on Tuesday received Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Finance.

Khachatryan presented the 2021-2026 Action Plan of the Armenian government, the introduction of the public financial management system, and the reform strategy.

Also, the minister lauded the close cooperation with Russia, and highlighted the development of bilateral relations—especially in economy.

Ambassador Kopirkin, for his part, expressed the readiness of the Russian side to collaborate with Armenia in all domains—and based on the traditions of 30 years of partnership.

The parties discussed the prospects for the development of Armenian-Russian relations—touching upon the development of economy, energy, infrastructure, new technology, and entrepreneurship. Reference was made to the activities of the Russian-operated South Caucasus Railway company, emphasizing its importance in the development of Armenia's economy.
