Armenia agreed on cessation of hostilities on October 7, 2020, after which the foreign minister left for Moscow for talks. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during today’s question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament, commenting on the allegations made by the opposition.

The deputies particularly blamed the head of government for not taking advantage of the opportunity and not stopping the war.

Nevertheless, as Pashinyan stated, this didn’t lead to the expected outcomes.

“Based on the outcomes, a ceasefire agreement was reached, but Azerbaijan violated it, and everyone knows this very well. So, the opposition’s allegations are completely nonsensical,” the Prime Minister said.
