A murder took place in Yerevan Tuesday, shamshyan.com reported.

At around 1:40am, the police received a call informing that an argument had taken place near a house, that a person had been stabbed.

The police and investigators found out that at around 1:30am, a quarrel had taken place in the mentioned area—and over parking space—, during which Yerevan resident Eghish G., 46, had stabbed visiting Russian citizen Nelsik K., 46, several times. Subsequently, this Russian national’s neighbor had taken him to a hospital, but Nelsik K. had died on the way—and without regaining consciousness.

A criminal case has been initiated into this incident.

A number of forensic examinations have been ordered.

The police and the investigation department are seeking the murder suspect and the knife that was used in this crime.
