Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan yesterday received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri.
As reported the Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the minister emphasized the centuries-old friendly relations between the two countries, touched upon the ministry’s programs with Iran and the opportunities for expansion of cooperation and stated that there is a need to specify the future actions and make investments.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the reception and, to further intensify the cooperation, proposed to attend high-tech industry exhibitions and organize working visits.
The parties also touched upon the DigiWeek-2021 event to be hosted in Yerevan in late October. The minister stated that the Iranian side has already received an invitation and the participation of the Iranian representative delegation will be welcomed.
