YEREVAN. – Accompanied by the Human Rights (Ombudsman) Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan, a delegation led by Lyudmyla Denisova, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine, on Tuesday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Armenian ombudsman.

The members of this delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, honoring the memory of the innocent victims of this tragedy in 1915.

Also, the guests toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and got acquainted with the documents and papers attesting to this genocide.

In addition, Denisova made a note in the memorial book of the Armenian Genocide Museum.

The aforesaid Ukrainian delegation, led by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, is in Armenia along the lines of exchanging track-records with the Human Rights Defender of Armenia.
