Moscow and Beijing aren’t establishing any closed military alliance, unlike NATO member states. This is what President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said during a plenary session at Valdai Discussion Club, TASS reports.

“Firstly, Russia’s friendship with China isn’t targeted against anyone. It is in the interests of our countries. Secondly, unlike NATO member states, we aren’t establishing any closed military alliance,” Putin said.

The head of state added that there hasn’t been a goal to establish a Russia-China military alliance.
