MOSCOW. – Russian peacekeepers have begun providing security during the repair and restoration of a water pipeline in the Askeran region near the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) border delimitation line, reported the Russian Defense Ministry's press service.

After the completion of this work with the assistance of the Russian peacekeepers, more than 300 families of Khramort village will be provided with drinking water through a pipeline.

Last month, and again with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers, a well was launched to supply drinking water—through a pipeline—to more than 2,000 residents of Karmir Shuka and Taghavard villages of the Martuni region.

The Russian peacekeepers continue to provide security during the work also at the water supply system of Machkalashen village of the Martuni region. And after the completion of this work, more than 400 inhabitants of this settlement will have access to drinking water.
