We plan to implement a program that will lead to an increase in the flow of Chinese tourists to Armenia, Chinese Ambassador Fan Yong told reporters Thursday.

He expressed hope that as a result of further cooperation, the flow of tourists from China to Armenia will increase even more.

"We plan to implement a program in this regard, which will lead to such a result. It is very important for the Chinese to have the opportunity to see the beautiful nature of Armenia," the ambassador said.

In his opinion, bilateral cooperation can develop in some other domains, too.

"I am more than satisfied with the level of relations with Armenia. They have a millennial history. The interest in Chinese in Armenia contributes to their development. The Chinese embassy provides financial support to schoolchildren, university students, and teachers who study and teach Chinese in Armenia,” concluded Ambassador Fan.
