Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan today hosted the Armenian Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian.

As reported the National Assembly, congratulating the Spiritual Leader on being elected Catholic Armenian Patriarch of Cilicia, Alen Simonyan wished him successes in the high and God pleasing mission.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the strengthening of the spiritual and educational relations, as well as the relationship with the homeland. They touched upon the activities to be carried out by Armenia for solution to the problems facing the Lebanese Armenian community.

The Spiritual Leader thanked the Armenian parliamentary speaker for the hospitality and wished him and the National Assembly fruitful work.
