A memorandum of cooperation was signed Saturday between the Balasanyan Bloc and Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party (CCP).

According to this memorandum, Balasanyan Bloc candidate Vardges Samsonyan will be nominated for the post of Gyumri mayor, and the two deputy mayors will be nominated from the CCP, Armenpress reported.

The names of the candidates for the two deputy mayors will be announced on November 1.

Pursuant to the memorandum, the two parties shall implement a joint personnel policy, assuming joint responsibility for the administration of Gyumri.
