American Airlines has canceled more than 1,000 flights since Friday due to worsening weather conditions. The relevant data was published on Saturday on the FlightAware portal, which tracks the movements of aircraft, TASS reports.

The airline canceled 542 flights on Friday and 485 on Saturday. In addition, 23 flights scheduled for Sunday were canceled.

At the same time, in a memorandum of the American airline, which is at the disposal of CNBC, it is said that the problems arose due to a strong gust of wind, which led to a reduction in the capacity of Dallas International Airport (Texas), as well as due to crew members who left their jobs.
